Thurston County narcotics task force seizes drugs worth $1.16 million
Three arrests over the weekend resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine valued at $1.16 million, the Thurston County narcotics tasks force announced Monday.
The arrests took place Saturday. The first was in Tumwater where a man was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver heroin. Two kilos of heroin were seized with a street value of $440,000.
Two more men were arrested in Olympia on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver meth and cocaine. The task force seized four kilos of meth, valued at $600,000, and a kilo of cocaine valued at $125,000.
The Thurston County narcotics task force assisted Homeland Security investigations and the Drug Enforcement Administration airport task force.
