Police think forklift may have been used to steal car
A forklift may have been used to steal a car at the downtown Olympia business Tom’s Outboard, according to Olympia police.
About 7 a.m. last Wednesday, the business near East Bay reported that a Hyundai Accent had been stolen off its property, Lt. Paul Lower said.
A check of the property also showed that a forklift used by the business had been moved overnight, and may have been used to break through a gate.
The abandoned Hyundai was recovered in Pierce County on Friday, Lower said.
