Car-versus-cow crash closed Littlerock Road for two hours Thursday morning

A crash involving two vehicles and a cow shut down Littlerock Road Southwest in both directions for two hours Thursday morning, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.

The cow was in the roadway in the 8600 block of Littlerock Road, according to Sheriff’s Lt. Ray Brady. The vehicles involved in the crash, which happened about 4:30 a.m., were a Subaru SUV and a Nissan SUV, he said.

No further information on the crash was available Thursday morning.

The cow died in the crash and was moved off the roadway, Brady said in a text to The Olympian. Two vehicle occupants complained of pain, but were not seriously injured.

The roadway reopened about 6:30 a.m.
