Have you seen her? Thurston County Sheriff’s Office wants your help
Update, March 25: Seidel has been found safe, according to Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.
Thurston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in its search for a missing woman who was last seen in Mason County.
Catherine F. Seidel, who goes by the name Cat, was seen within the last two weeks in Mason County and could have been staying with a friend in Bucoda, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Seidel is white, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and about 120 pounds with pink hair. The office did not provide a description of her clothing.
Lt. Ray Brady told The Olympian Seidel’s sister reported her missing. She does not have a permanent address that the Sheriff’s Office is aware of, Brady said, and is “involved in the drug community.”
The office does not have reason to be concerned for her safety at this time, though rumors of danger are “not uncommon in these cases,” Brady said.
“It’s always a possibility, but we’re just hoping somebody will say they’ve seen her or have her reach out,” Brady said.
Anyone with tips regarding Seidel’s location is asked to call Detective F. M. Frawley at 360-786-5599 or Thurston County 911 dispatch at 360-704-2740.
