Anonymous cheerleaders post encouraging signs leading to Olympia hospital

A line-up of encouraging signs now greet staff as they arrive at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, though who put them there remains a mystery.

Messages such as “Bless our nurses” and “Crush COVID” now cheer on medical staff, who are on the front lines battling the COVID-19 pandemic here.

Hospital spokesperson Chris Thomas said he isn’t sure when the signs arrived, but that a caregiver took a photo of them Tuesday.

“We hear you, and we feel your love and support,” a post on the hospital’s Facebook page reads. “Thank you.”

Thomas said the hospital doesn’t know who put the signs there.
