Don’t be alarmed if you see a helicopter hovering over northeast Lacey, city says

Don’t be alarmed if you see or hear a helicopter hovering over northeast Lacey Sunday morning, the city of Lacey announced on its Facebook page.

That’s because the helicopter is only lowering equipment onto a Home Depot distribution center that is under construction.

The location is just north of the Target distribution center on Hawks Prairie Road Northeast.

The work is expected to begin at 9 a.m. and last half the day, according to city information.
