Engineering firm to move into downtown apartment building slated to open in August

Harbor Heights, the nearly complete 55-and-older apartment building on Columbia Street in downtown Olympia, has a new tenant, said J. Camron McKinley, vice president of Vine Street Group, the developer.

The new tenant is Landau Associates, an employee-owned engineering firm that will occupy 5,000 square feet of street-level space. Also in that same space is Cynara Restaurant & Lounge, a new eatery to be run by Christian Skillings, the operator of Iron Rabbit Restaurant & Bar in west Olympia.

McKinley said he expects the apartments to open in August.
