A hit-and-run suspect is still at large after crashing into a motorcycle overnight Friday in downtown Shelton, police Chief Darrin Moody said Tuesday.

According to police, at about 1 a.m., the vehicle was headed south on Seventh Street in Shelton when the driver turned left onto Railroad Avenue and hit a motorcycle passing through the intersection. The driver of the truck did not stop.

Police later found two injured riders who were flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

They also found fluid that had leaked from the vehicle, and followed the trail of fluid until it stopped at Railroad Avenue and First Street.

The vehicle is thought to be a 2000-2005 Chevy Impala, possibly silver in color. It also should have damage on the passenger side from hitting the motorcycle.

Anyone with information is asked to call Shelton police at 360-426-4441.
