As downtown Olympia businesses re-open following Phase 2 of the state’s Safe Start Plan, Olympia Parking Services is creating spaces for no-contact curbside pickups. The parking spaces will offer free 15-minute parking to anyone picking up goods from downtown Olympia businesses.

Other, long-term, metered parking spaces remain available and range from 15-minutes to 9-hours, stretching from downtown to the Capitol Campus. The bulk of the curbside pickup spaces are on State, Fourth and Fifth avenues, and on Legion and Capitol ways.

Olympia Parking Services has made an interactive map to check what kind of parking spaces are available and where. That can be found on the City of Olympia website under “parking services.”

Parking fees downtown will be payable through the free PayByPhone app and/or website. This method allows for contact-free payments to be made with a cell phone.
