A Centralia man who died at an area hospital after a single vehicle crash near Bucoda over the weekend has been identified, according to the Thurston County Coroner’s Office.

Merrill Harris was 62. His autopsy is set for Wednesday, Coroner Gary Warnock said.

About 2 p.m. Saturday, the man was headed south on state Route 507 when troopers say he failed to negotiate a turn and drove off the road, The Olympian reported Sunday.
