Thurston County is announced one new case of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to 220 confirmed cases.

The newly diagnosed is a man in his 50’s, according to county spokesperson Meghan Porter.

Because the county’s Public Health and Social Services website could not be updated, the announcement is currently only on Twitter. The delay in updating the daily COVID-19 count on the website is the result of a technical issue that IT staff are working on amending now, according to the county’s Twitter post.

The amount of patients considered “recovered” or “recovering” has been updated to 191. The amount of people who have had to be hospitalized also went up to 32, on Monday.
