Centralia woman is killed in overnight crash, State Patrol says
A Centralia woman was killed early Saturday after the vehicle she was riding in drove off the road in Grays Harbor County, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The driver, a 27-year-old Hoquiam man, was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide. Drugs or alcohol were thought to be a factor in the crash, Troopers say.
About 12:45 a.m. Saturday, the man and woman were headed north on state Route 109, north of Ocean Shores, in a Nissan Sentra. Troopers say the vehicle then left the road and crashed into multiple trees.
The 26-year-old woman died at the scene.
