Centralia woman who died in car crash has been identified

Meaghann C. Price Shipe died early Saturday in a Grays Harbor County car crash, according to the Washington State Patrol.

She was identified by the State Patrol. The Grays Harbor County coroner could not be reached.

About 12:45 a.m. Saturday, the driver and woman were headed north on state Route 109, north of Ocean Shores, in a Nissan Sentra. Troopers say the vehicle then left the road and crashed into multiple trees.

The driver, a 27-year-old Hoquiam man, was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide. Drugs or alcohol were thought to be a factor in the crash, Troopers say.
