Police want public’s help finding missing 93-year-old Centralia man

Centralia Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding a missing 93-year-old man last seen Monday afternoon.

Robert S. Gerard was last seen at 2 p.m. Monday, July 6, walking toward the 2400 block of North Pearl Street in Centralia, according to a news release from the police department. He has dementia, according to the department’s release, and experiences seizures.

He relies on medicine taken twice daily and doesn’t have it with him, Detective John Panco told The Olympian.

Gerard is 6 feet tall, weighs 185 pounds, and has blue eyes and white hair. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, brown jacket, and blue jeans and using a gold cane.

Anyone with information on Gerard’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Lewis County Central Dispatch Center at (360) 740-1105. As of Wednesday afternoon, the department had not received any credible leads, according to Det. Panco.
