4 Shelton residents injured in head-on crash in Mason County

Four Shelton residents, including two children, were injured Sunday in a head-on crash on state Route 3 in Mason County, according to the Washington State Patrol.

About 11:45 a.m. Sunday, the Shelton residents were headed north on SR3 at East Deer Creek Road. Meanwhile, a 60-year-old man was headed south on SR3.

Troopers say the man crossed the center line and crashed into the northbound vehicle.

Two women in their 30s and two girls, ages 8 and 10, were taken to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.

The 60-year-old man was not injured.

The crash is under investigation, according to the State Patrol.
