Lacey Police seek public’s help in search for missing man

Update: Soo Won Oh was found safe Thursday in northeast Lacey and returned home, according to Sgt. Shannon Barnes.

Lacey Police are again asking for the public’s help in finding Soo Won Oh, who the department says went missing from south Lacey Wednesday.

Oh, 64, has Alzheimer’s disease, may be disoriented and confused, and has a history of walking away from his home, according to a police-isssued Missing Endangered Person flier.

He last went missing July 13, and Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies found him two days later, according to The Olympian’s previous reporting.

The flier describes Oh as 5 feet 5 inches tall and 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

According to a previous flier, his family owns a gas station in Yelm and he’s known to use Intercity Transit.

Anyone with relevant information should call Lacey Police Department at 360-459-4333 or Crime Stoppers of South Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
