Wrong-way crash on I-5 at Nisqually River Bridge leaves one dead and two injured
A person driving the wrong way on Interstate 5 was killed early Saturday morning when they collided with oncoming traffic over the Nisqually River Bridge, Washington State Patrol reports.
It was a two-car, head-on collision that occurred after 5 a.m. The driver and passenger of the other car were both seriously injured.
Two northbound lanes of I-5 were blocked for about three hours, according to WSP. All lanes reopened just after 8 a.m.
