Lacey air quality still unsafe for sensitive groups

Air quality in the Lacey and Chehalis areas remains unhealthy for sensitive groups on Thursday morning, according to the Department of Ecology’s hourly data collection.

For those who need a break from the smoky air, room 100 of the Olympia Center will be open as a cooling center from noon-5 P.M on Thursday.

Staff from Catholic Community Services (CCS) will be present and the room has capacity for about 12 people at a time, according to an email from Gabe Ash, program manager for CCS.
