Percival Landing repairs to finish by Jan. 15

The city of Olympia has contracted to begin repairs at Percival Landing on Monday.

This project will include freeboard and float repairs, timber cross-bracing and pile repairs, gangway transition plate extensions, float repairs and other work. The project is expected to be completed by Jan. 15.

During these repairs, there will be intermittent closures of portions of the boardwalk and boat ramps, as well as limited access to the docks. Some repair work will occur at off-hours and at night to accommodate low tide.

The parking area and a portion of the boardwalk, located immediately west of the Les Schwab building at 210 State Ave. N.W., will be used for the contractor’s staging area and will be closed to the public.

For more information, contact the Parks Department at 360-753-8380.
