A fence has been erected around an aging retail area in Lacey, with work about to begin on redeveloping the site into Pacific Station, according to the developer.

Vancouver, Washington-based MAJ Development Corp. says the northwest corner of Sleater-Kinney Road and Pacific Avenue will feature a 4,100-square-foot 7-Eleven convenience store with fuel, a 2,325-square-foot Chipotle Mexican Grill with pick-up lane, a 5,100-square-foot retail building, a 2,800-square-foot retail building with coffee drive-through and a 3,000- to 4,000-square-foot quick service building or bank.

The Chipotle would be the third location in Lacey and fourth in the area. Chipotle also can be found near Martin Way and Marvin Road; across from Capitol City Golf Course on Yelm Highway, and in Olympia at Capital Mall.
