Wanted: Volunteers for Thurston County vaccine clinics

The United Way of Thurston County is seeking volunteers to help staff vaccination clinics as parents seek vaccines for children 5 and older and others seek booster shots.

The United Way is seeking non-medical volunteers to help staff vaccination clinics at Capital Mall and other pop-up clinics around the county.

Volunteers can learn more and sign up at UWTC’s website.

According to the website, shifts include helping with set-up, reception, controlling traffic, running vaccines and more. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and able to work on their feet for multiple hours. They must also pass background checks.
