Missing Lacey man found dead, no foul play suspected, police say

Laurence R. Wright, 59, a man who was reported missing and was last seen Oct. 20 in the 3500 block of Hepburn Street Northeast in Hawks Prairie, was found dead just over a week later, police said Monday.

Wright’s body was located Oct. 29 not far from his home in a wooded area, Lacey Police Sgt. Shannon Barnes said.

Barnes said foul play is not suspected but that the case is still open while awaiting toxicology results from the coroner.
