Olympia fire crews battle large fire at 5-story building downtown

Fire crews responded to a large commercial fire Wednesday morning in downtown Olympia. Video from the scene showed smoke and flames pouring out of a five-story building.

Crews from Olympia Fire Department responded to the fire at 302 Capitol Way North. Firefighters were already on the scene working to extinguish the flames at about 6:40 a.m., according to a tweet from the department.

Fire crews said the blaze started in the five-story building and spread to three other buildings. The cause of the fire is not yet known. No more details were immediately available.
