A Grays Harbor County man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle Saturday night after he crashed his vehicle into a tree, according to Washington State Patrol.

About 9 p.m., the 32-year-old Montesano man was headed west on Pioneer Avenue West at Wynoochee Valley Road.

Troopers say he drove over a triangle divider, went into the brush on the right side of the ramp from Devonshire Road to westbound U.S. Highway 12, and struck a tree.

The man was speeding and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to Washington State Patrol.
