Snowy and icy conditions have extended service delays and closures into Tuesday.

Capitol Campus: The campus is open. The restrooms at Heritage Park, Marathon Park and the Interpretive Center are closed. All other buildings and systems are operational. The Natural Resource Building visitor parking lot entrance from Washington Street is closed, and other parking garages will be closed if hazardous conditions develop.

Centralia College: Opening at 10 a.m.

The Evergreen State College: Temps are still freezing so Evergreen’s campuses will be closed, the college announced on social media. “We are not in suspended operations however, so staff who can work remotely should,” the message reads.

Grays Harbor College: Two hours late (now closed).

Intercity Transit: Due to winter driving conditions, Village Vans will not operate on Tuesday. All rides will be canceled.

Lacey Timberland Library: Opens at noon.

LeMay Pacific Disposal: A Tumwater resident received a recorded message Tuesday morning that there will be no garbage, recycling pickup on Tuesday routes. For those residents on a Tuesday route, garbage will now be collected on Jan. 4, recycling/yard waste Jan. 11 and glass on Jan. 25, according to an email from the business.

Our Place To Grow Children’s Center, Spanaway: Closed.

Pierce College: Campuses are open except for Pierce College at JBLM where employees will work remotely.

Skokomish Tribe: Closed.

South Puget Sound Community College: All locations are closed Tuesday.

South Sound YMCA Child Care Services: All child care closed.

Thurston County offices will have a delayed opening, with operations beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

This delayed opening is due to inclement weather. Superior Court offices at the Main Campus, Family Juvenile Court, and Drug Court will open at 9:30 a.m. Superior Court morning calendars and hearings scheduled to begin before 9:30 a.m. will begin at 10 a.m.

District Court will also have a delayed opening, with in-person services beginning at 10 a.m. However, District Court will still conduct all court hearings as scheduled, to begin at 9 a.m. These will be conducted virtually via Zoom.

Thurston County Public Works: The gates at Frye Cove Park will be closed to vehicle traffic starting Dec. 28, due to icy conditions. The park will still be open to walk-in users.
