Area mayors to speak at annual Chamber of Commerce event Jan. 12

The Thurston County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual “state of the community” event on Jan. 12.

Set to attend: Lacey Mayor Andy Ryder, new Tumwater Mayor Debbie Sullivan, Olympia Mayor Cheryl Selby, Yelm Mayor Joe DePinto and Thurston County Commissioner Tye Menser.

The mayors and Menser will share the state of their jurisdiction and address COVID-19, homelessness, Interstate 5 congestion and other topics, according to the chamber.

The gathering is set for 11:30 a.m. Jan. 12 at The Olympia Hotel at Capitol Lake, 2300 Evergreen Park Drive SW, Olympia.
