The Olympia Transit Center announced on Monday a new partnership with Greyhound buses to expand travel opportunities in and out of the state’s capital.

The service will provide regional and national bus travel options for South Puget Sound residents based at the Intercity Transit station in downtown Olympia, according to a press release from Intercity Transit. Passengers can purchase Greyhound tickets in person at the customer service counter at 205 Franklin St. in Olympia that is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.

“It is exciting to see these enhancements come together,” said Ann Freeman-Manzanares, Intercity Transit’s general manager. “Combined, they bring to life the vision for an accessible transit network that expands travel opportunities to destinations both near and far. We are proud to partner with Greyhound to make this possible for our community.”
