Need a job? Hiring event is set for Wednesday in Olympia
The staffing agency Express Employment Professionals in west Olympia is having a hiring event, 11-2 p.m. Wednesday, March 2.
Two companies, Girard Wood Products and Cardinal CG, a glass manufacturer, will be on site to fill openings, said Ashley Stone, managing partner at Express.
The staffing business is also looking to fill more than 60 positions throughout Thurston County in warehouse, housekeeping, office, professional, medical and kitchen work.
There’s a need for cooks, according to the Express information
“We will have immediate interviews on the spot, no appointment required, and we are also entering each person who participates in the event into a drawing to win a new flat screen TV,” Stone said.
The west Olympia Express office is at 1120 Harrison Ave. NW. Applicants are asked to bring a resume and to come ready for an interview.
