Mason County man is killed in Monday morning wreck
Washington State Patrol reported that a two-vehicle collision on State Route 3 just south of Belfair in Mason County ended with one man dead Monday morning.
William N. Cundiff, 74, died at the scene.
According to a press memo from WSP, the Belfair man failed to stop at a stop sign to get onto SR3 and was hit by another vehicle driven by a 17-year-old male.
The teenager was injured, but drove himself to an area hospital, according to the memo.
The collision left the roadway closed for more than two hours.
