Mason County woman hurt after vehicle rolls multiple times on highway

A Mason County woman was injured Sunday when the vehicle she was riding in rolled multiple times on state Route 3, according to Washington State Patrol.

About 1:30 p.m. Sunday, the Belfair woman and a Belfair man were headed north on state Route 3 in Kitsap County. Troopers say the male driver attempted to change lanes, but struck another vehicle.

That caused the Belfair man to lose control, and their Chevy Cobalt rolled multiple times before landing on its wheels, according to State Patrol. The woman, 60, was taken to an area hospital.

The driver of the other car, a 19-year-old man from Silverdale, was not injured.
