June 12
Tie-Dye and Free Admission day at the Estuarium: Located at 309 State Ave. NE, Olympia, the Estuarium is offering free admission from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in celebration of Pride Month. Participants will be able to tie-dye shirts and learn about marine life. If you buy a shirt to tie-dye at the Estuarium, the process is free. Downtown Sea Stroll with the Estuarium: The Downtown Sea Stroll offers the opportunity for participants to become familiar with Olympia’s shoreline. From 1-3 p.m., participants will walk the 1.5-mile path the Estuarium’s Education Team uses during their Estuary Life & Landforms field trips. Stroll admission costs $15 for adults and includes admission to the Estuarium; kids under 12 stroll for free.
OlyTown Artesians Soccer: Watch the USL League 2 local semi-pro soccer team play from 2-5 p.m. at Black Hills Stadium, 7741 Littlerock Road SW, Tumwater. Tickets are available online.
June 16
Vince Brown in June: Local icon Vince Brown will play solo from 5-7 p.m. every Wednesday in June at Swing Wine Bar, 825 Columbia St. in Olympia, as well as 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 16 at the Olympia Farmers Market. Call 360-357-9464 for reservations for Wednesday nights.
June 17
Empowerment 4 Girls’ Solstice Women’s Retreat: A “wholistic wellness weekend” is planned for Millersylvania State Park, 12245 Tilley Road SW, Olympia, for all women, including non-binary and trans women, over the age of 18. The proceeds will go to youth programs at Empowerment 4 Girls. The event runs from 5 p.m. June 17 to 11 a.m. June 19. Admission ranges from $5 to $300. Register by June 13.
“Falling” by Olympia Little Theatre: The play “Falling” features a family learning the complicated reality of raising an autistic man. The theatre is at 1925 Miller Ave NE, Olympia. The play will start at 7:25 p.m. on June 17 and June 18. Tickets are $11 to $15.
Equine Endurance Ride — Creek to Capitol Peak: Join equestrians at Capitol Forest’s Evergreen Sportsman’s Club, 12736 Marksman St. SW, Olympia on June 17 and June 18. Friday will be the Intro/25 ride and Saturday will be the Intro/30/50/75 ride. Admission ranges from $30 to $155. 41st Juneteenth Celebration: The event will be at the Regional Athletic Complex, Shelter C, 8345 Steilacoom Road SE. Strawberry Festival: The 86th annual Strawberry Festival will be at the South Bay Grange, 3918 Sleater Kinney Road NE, Olympia from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event includes a Strawberry Short K Run/Walk, local vendors, live music and kid’s crafts.
Irish Classic Car Show: This is the 10th annual Irish Classic Car show brought together by O’Blarney’s Irish Pub, 4411 Martin Way, Olympia. The event will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Giveaways and awards are included. The show will feature Best in Show, O’Blarney’s Picks and People’s Choice.

Family Friendly Juneteenth Celebration: The event will be from 1-5 p.m. at Rebecca Howard Park, 911 Adams St. SE, Olympia. It will feature music, food, and poetry and focus on Black heritage. Learn more on the city of Olympia website.
