Need a job? Job fair set for Wednesday, June 15, in west Olympia

Express Employment Professionals, a staffing business, is having a job fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at 1120 Harrison Ave, NW in west Olympia.

The business is working with 38 employers that are looking to fill 73 positions. Some of the employers, including Providence St. Peter Hospital, Girard Wood Products and the city of Tumwater, will be on hand to do on-the-spot interviews.

The city of Tumwater is looking to fill several summer positions in their parks and recreation department.

“We would love to see Class of 2022 high school graduates who are looking to either make money for the summer or begin their career with one of Thurston’s top employers,” said Express owner Reid Bates. “For those just getting started, we have excellent entry-level wages starting at $15 to $18 per hour for office, warehouse and manufacturing positions.”

Other job opportunities:

Express has nine different accounting and finance positions to fill with experienced professionals. The wages pay up to $85,000 per year.

Express Employment’s health care division is hiring certified nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses and nurses with wages ranging from $26 per hour for certified nursing assistants to $85 per hour for nurses.
