Shelton man injured in Mason County crash Wednesday morning
A Shelton man was injured Wednesday morning when one driver failed to yield to another, resulting in a rollover crash, according to Washington State Patrol.
At 7:18 a.m., one of the drivers was on Mason Lake Road, attempting to turn left onto northbound state Route 3 in Mason County. Troopers say the 24-year-old man from New Mexico failed to yield the right of way to an oncoming vehicle.
The New Mexico driver collided with the oncoming car but was uninjured. However, the passenger, a 78-year-old Shelton man, was hurt and taken to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.
The driver of the oncoming vehicle, a 27-year-old Shelton man, was not injured.
