Need an internship? Thurston partners launch website to connect students to work

The Thurston County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Association of Washington Business Institute, South Puget Sound Community College, Saint Martin’s University and The Evergreen State College to pilot a new program called the Washington Workforce Portal.

The online site aims to connect students across the state with work-based learning opportunities such as internships or apprenticeships.

Employers can post internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing, and mentoring opportunities to search for candidates.

For more about the portal, go to: www.washingtonworkforceportal.org.
