A 30-year-old Tacoma woman faces a possible vehicular assault charge after she triggered a three-car wreck in Lewis County Sunday afternoon, according to Washington State Patrol.

The woman, plus three others, were injured in the crash.

She and a 30-year-old Spanaway woman in a separate vehicle were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. A 34-year-old Puyallup man and a 79-year-old Packwood man also were injured and taken to a medical facility in Morton.

About 3:15 p.m. Sunday, all three vehicles were headed south on state Route 7, north of Morton. Troopers say the Tacoma woman crashed into the vehicle in front of her, pushing it into another car.

The Tacoma woman is suspected of driving under the influence, according to the Washington State Patrol.
