Failure to yield sends Shelton man to area hospital Friday morning

A 20-year-old Shelton man was injured and taken to an area hospital Friday morning following a two-car wreck near Satsop in Grays Harbor County, according to Washington State Patrol.

About 7:10 a.m. Friday, the Shelton man was headed west on U.S. 12, approaching the Fourth Street interchange near Satsop.

Meanwhile, a 34-year-old Pacific Beach man was headed east in the same location. Troopers say the Pacific Beach man failed to yield and crashed into the Shelton’s man vehicle.

The 20-year-old man was hurt and taken to Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma, according to State Patrol.

The Pacific Beach man not injured.
