Buses and other Intercity Transit services won’t be available on Thanksgiving

You might have to find another ride if your Thanksgiving plans rely on public transportation this year. Intercity Transit will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24.

That means Dial-A-Lift, local and Express bus services, and Village Vans won’t be operating. And the offices in Olympia will be closed as well.

According to a news release from Intercity Transit, the reservation line for Dial-A-Lift will be closed, but customers can still leave a voicemail for ride or cancellation requests. The number is 360-705-5827.

Buses will be back to their normal schedules the following day, Friday, Nov. 25. For more information on routes and schedules, visit Intercity Transit’s website or contact Customer Service from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 360-786-1881.
