Olympia police looking for man who robbed Sound Credit Union

Olympia police continue to look for a man who robbed a Sound Credit Union branch last week.

About 1 p.m. Dec. 14, the man entered the branch at Martin Way East and Lilly Road Northeast in Olympia. He then handed the teller a note, demanding money, Lt. Paul Lower said Sunday.

The teller complied and the man fled from the scene, he said. A K9 track was unsuccessful, according to police.

The man, who is thought to be in his 20s, was last seen wearing a dark gray face mask, a white t-shirt with black hoodie over it, tan pants and brown or tan work boots, Lower said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Olympia police at 360-753-8300.
