Two Aberdeen residents were injured Saturday afternoon when their vehicle rolled over in a crash near Montesano, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The two injured residents, ages 15 and 33, were taken to Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital in Aberdeen.

About 4 p.m. Saturday, a vehicle containing four Aberdeen residents was headed west on U.S. 12 at the Monte Brady intersection. Meanwhile, a 76-year-old woman was headed east, preparing to turn north at the same intersection.

Troopers say the woman failed to yield to the westbound vehicle and crashed into it. The westbound vehicle rolled and wound up in a westbound ditch, according to State Patrol.

The woman’s car came to a stop and blocked a lane for more than an hour.
