A silver alert has been issued for a 69-year-old Chehalis man who is thought to be missing or endangered, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

John Sill was reported missing Monday morning by a family member who asked him to go to the store, according to deputies. Sill responded that he wouldn’t because he had taken sleeping medication. But about 90 minutes later, the family woke up to find him gone and his vehicle missing.

Sill is described as 5-foot-10, 165 pounds and has blue eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt, jeans and tan toeless slippers. His vehicle is described as a 2007 Black Range Rover Sport, Washington state license BWD2852.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office at 360-748-9286.
