Trader Joe’s worker injured at warehouse

A Trader Joe’s employee was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Wednesday afternoon after a stack of crates fell on him at the company’s Lacey distribution center.

The man had been transferring pallets of crates in the refrigerated section of the warehouse when the crates fell on him, said Lacey police Sgt. Terence Brimmer. Police and the Lacey Fire Department responded to the warehouse at 3707 Hogum Bay Road just after 3 p.m.

Brimmer said the man’s condition is unknown.
