Lacey motorcyclist is in critical, but stable condition, police say

A 20-year-old Lacey motorcyclist, who was injured in a wreck on Marvin Road on Monday, was in critical, but stable condition on Tuesday, a spokesman for the Lacey Police Department said.

About 12:30 p.m. Monday, the motorcyclist turned left onto southbound Marvin Road in the 100 block, near Martin Way, according to Police Sgt. Jeremy Knight. Meanwhile, the driver of a pickup truck turned left onto northbound Marvin Road, resulting in a collision in the center turn lane.

Knight said the motorcyclist was driving a Harley-Davidson. The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured. Knight said there were no signs of impairment, The Olympian reported.
