Lacey police investigating overnight shooting at mobile home park
A 44-year-old man was injured early Tuesday when he was confronted by another man and shot in the leg, according to Lacey police.
About 1:20 a.m., police were dispatched to the Mountain Greens mobile home park in the 5500 block of Chelan Lane Southeast, east of College Street and north of Yelm Highway in Lacey.
Police learned the victim was working on his car when he said he was confronted and shot once in the leg, Sgt. Jeremy Knight said.
The victim was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.
Police have identified a possible suspect in the shooting and are trying to determine whether the two men knew each other, Knight said.
