Road closure will impact drivers using an I-5 north ramp in Lacey this week
Overnight road work will impact drivers using the northbound I-5 on-ramp at Martin Way, near College Street, starting at 9 p.m. Friday Aug. 18 and ending at 6 a.m. Saturday Aug. 19.
Workers will complete permanent striping on the ramp onto I-5, Intercity Transit noted in a press release. Southbound access to I-5 will not be affected.
Traffic control measures and a detour for northbound I-5 traffic will be available during the road closure.
Improvements are being made to the Martin Way Park & Ride for better, faster bus access for Olympia Express (Route 620) riders, the agency noted.
