Fire district in Lacey rescued two kayakers and a boater in one day. Here’s what we know

Lacey Fire District 3 responded to two water rescue calls Friday afternoon.

The fire district posted at 7:23 p.m. on social media that the first call involved two kayakers and their capsized kayak. The second call was for an overturned fishing boat.

The social media post doesn’t say where and when the water rescues happened. The post also didn’t say the condition of those who were rescued.

The fire district’s public information officer was not immediately available for comment.
