Mason County woman is killed in head-on crash on U.S. Highway 101 Tuesday afternoon
A Mason County woman has died and a Shelton man was injured in a head-on crash in Shelton Tuesday afternoon, according to Washington State Patrol.
The woman was identified as Lisa A. Replogle, 43, of Hoodsport.
About 2:15 p.m., Replogle was driving south on U.S. Highway 101 at Wallace Kneeland Boulevard, while the 40-year-old Shelton man was headed in the opposite direction.
Troopers say Replogle, who was driving too fast for conditions, crossed the center line and crashed head-on into the Shelton’s man vehicle.
She died at the scene. The Shelton man was injured and taken to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.
