Intercity Transit buses and vans will not operate on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, and New Year’s Day, Jan 1.

The public will not be able to use the transit agency’s local bus, Express, Dial-A-Lift and Village Vans on both holidays, according to a rider alert.

Customer Service at the Olympia Transit Center and the administrative office will be closed as well.

Service also will end early on Christmas Eve. The last local and Express buses will run before 8 p.m. and the last Dial-A-Lift pick-up will occur at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, per the alert. Customer Service will close at 5 p.m. Sunday.

The Dial-A-Lift reservation line will be closed, but the alert says customers can still leave cancellation messages on the service’s voicemail at 360-705-5827. People can request Dial-A-Lift rides by emailing daldispatch@intercitytransit.com or by leaving a voicemail at 360-705-5827.

The last departure times for each route can be found at intercitytransit.com/christmas-eve or by calling Customer Service at 360-786-1881. Intercity Transit also offers text message or email alerts for those who sign-up at intercitytransit.com/subscribe.
