These Olympia services will close early for the New Year’s holiday. Here’s what to know

Some city of Olympia services will close early Friday for the long New Year’s holiday weekend.

The City Hall customer service counter will close at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, and won’t reopen until Tuesday, Jan. 2, for its normal business hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Olympia Police Department’s customer service counter will close at noon Friday, and will reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The Olympia Center’s front service counter will close at 5 p.m. Friday and will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The Olympia Fire Department will close down its services at 2 p.m. Friday and will reopen Tuesday. Residents undertaking new construction or tenant improvements can be scheduled for a fire inspection by calling 360-753-8348.
