Motorists driving south on Interstate 5 today in the Tumwater area should plan for a daytime lane closure, the state Department of Transportation says.

The right lane will be closed to repair multiple potholes as I-5 approaches Exit 99 to 93rd Avenue. The work will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to WSDOT.

Although the right lane that approaches the exit will close, Exit 99 will remain open, WSDOT officials say.
