The Nisqually Red Wind Casino partially reopened Friday afternoon after being closed down due to a “cybersecurity incident,” the casino announced on their Facebook page.

“We truly appreciate your patience as we work hard behind the scenes to get all services back up and running for you,” a Friday Facebook post says. “We hope to see you soon, and we truly hope that your luck is better than ours has been this past couple of days.”

The casino, located on the Nisqually Reservation along Yelm Highway Southeast in Thurston County, announced a temporary closure Thursday that extended into Friday morning.

“Our systems are currently offline due to a cyber security incident, and we’re working with a team of professionals to reopen as quickly as possible,” the Thursday post says. “We value our guests and will honor all missed offers at a later date.”

It’s unclear what kind of damage the incident may have caused to their systems or whether any customer information was compromised. The Olympian has asked casino management to elaborate on the situation.

Some customers who commented on the casino’s initial Facebook post reported being turned away from the casino by security. The casino’s official website still appeared to be unreachable as of Friday.

The following services were not yet available Friday, according to the latest update:

  • ATMs;
  • New Club account sign ups;
  • Check Cashing;
  • Credit Card and Debit transactions;
  • Enrollment Kiosks;
  • Point at the Pump/Retail Rewards.

Meanwhile, guests could access the following services:

  • Current Free Play Offers;
  • Slots and Tables;
  • Point Earnings/ Points to cash at the machine;
  • Ticket Redemption;
  • Keno and Sports betting;
  • Very limited food and beverage options.
